One more summer, music will liven up the Sevillian summer nights. The chords will sound from different city parks with several cycles of concerts and monologues. More than 80 live performances from the XIX 'Nights in the Gardens of the Real Alcázar' and 'Spring and Autumn in Green', which brings culture to the neighbourhoods.

 

This week the XIX edition of the series of concerts 'Nights in the Gardens of the Real Alcázar' has started, a classic on the summer cultural agenda in Seville. 75 live performances to enjoy, discover and move us in the gardens of the oldest European palace in use.

 

Until September 8, Sevillian nights will sound like flamenco, jazz, swing, blues and ethnic music on a stage located between the Carlos V Gazebo and the Grutescos Gallery. Music and heritage for Sevillians and Sevillians and for all tourists.

 

The cycle is made up of 41 groups, 234 musicians, of which almost 57% come from Seville, which represents a decided commitment to the formations and musicians of the city and the province, and 89 percent from Andalusia. ' Nights in the Gardens of the Real Alcázar ' has been a success in past editions. The figures prove it. 439,600 attendees in the 18 previous editions, with an average global occupancy rate of 97.62%. 1,084 concerts held. 558 groups and soloists, with a total of 3,402 performers, of which 69.36% have been musicians born or resident in the province of Seville. In addition, in 892 concerts, the occupation of 100% of the offered capacity was obtained.

 

Seville's nocturnal musical offer does not end there. The cycle 'Spring and Autumn in Green', organized by the Delegation of Equality, Youth and Relations with the University Community, promotes alternative leisure , giving visibility to young groups and artists of the city.
