June 27, 2024. Summer has started with excellent news for Casual Hoteles , and on July 4, its 25th hotel will open its doors: Casual Fuentes Bilbao .

This is a 12-room hotel, which has just been completely renovated, and enjoys a privileged location in the centre of the city's historic quarter, next to Plaza Nueva. Its theme has been inspired by the legendary fountains of Bilbao, which form part of the city's urban and historical heritage.

With this addition, which corresponds to a franchise agreement, Bilbao becomes the Spanish city where Casual Hoteles has the most hotels, and the third by number of rooms.

According to Juan Carlos Sanjuán , president of Casual Hoteles, “we are very pleased to continue consolidating the franchise agreement that we maintain with the owners of the hotels we have in Bilbao. An alliance that began 10 years ago, and that has grown to reach the current figure of 6 hotels and 84 rooms. All with exceptional locations in the center of a city that has become a first-class tourist destination, both nationally and internationally. In this regard, according to Eustat data, in 2023 a total of 1,151,352 tourists visited the city of Bilbao, accounting for 68.2% of all visits to Vizcaya; and with an increase of 10.9% compared to 2022”.
